Things have gone from bad to worse for the Creationists and the nice fellas over at the Discovery Institute. They’re losing in court, real scientists are finally responding in force to their stupidity, and people are increasingly seeing through their bullshit. But all is not lost. At least they still have Shelley the Republican:
Michael Behe: This famous scientist single-handedly disproved Darwin’s theory of Evolution, with solid indesputable mathematical facts. He is a founding fellow of the Discovery Institute. Why has he been constantly overlooked for a Nobel Prize?
The answer is simple: He is a victiom of a secualrist scientific minority who irrationally deny that science should consider non-material phenomena. As a result, Behe has been prevented from publishing a single scientific paper about his credible and important discoveries.
As John Stewart would say, now that’s good satire.

I know you are trying hard but you can never “bend” the truth. God created the planet and God created all live just like it is now. The Earth is 6000 years old and not a day older.
You the your kind will be punished on judgement day when the rapture is coming.

It is too incredibly stupid to een be good satire. It is scary, like 1984 was scary.

I’m laughing on the inside. I was laughing on the outside too until I scrolled down and read this reply from the author of the letter trashing the Nobel Prize:
“and lets get things into perspective, the threat of Linux might be serious but it’s nowhere near as bad as those Islamofascists and Homosexuals. The truth is, most of our readers are right not to care about that IT stuff. It’s not long till the rapture, and then we wont need any computers.”
I don’t think he’s joking either. You realize what this means…as soon as the homosexual Islamofacists start using Linux, we’re fucked. Shelley the Republican may have just told the enemy how to win. Shelley’s worse than the New York Times.
Unless Shelley wants them to win…
