it&#039;s the intellectual equivalent of someone convincing themselves that the creek in the woods behind their house is the Amazon, and then making all the necessary preparations to explore the Amazon based on there belief that the creek is the Amazon.

maybe &quot;new level of freaking hilarity&quot; is a better way to put it.
