Where I’m At, Museum edition February 15, 2008

Aside from some dustups in comments threads, things have been quiet around here recently, and I’m still swamped with real-life work, so that will continue for a while. At the moment, though, I’m in the Twin Cities for a Wedding–I know, it’s Winter in Minnesota, and I’m cold. But there’s an upside: tomorrow, if all goes as planned, I’ll get to check out the Science Museum of Minnesota. Should be fun!
So today’s question for my readers: what museum in the world would you most like to be at, right now?
Any of the national galleries in D.C., or any of the Smithsonian museums. Yes, I’d be there right now.
Hermitage, St. Petersburg, Russia.
3 days wouldn’t be enough.
If you are in the cities – you should go to the Walker Museum.
Of the last 3-4 years, it is one of the most interesting buildings in the US. The collection is good, and the building (even if you don’t like it) is quite engaging.
The Alhambra in Spain or the Topkapi in Istanbul or the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
